Book Synopsis
Getting to know most of the youth athletes Edward Galloway coaches on a personal basis and becoming that role model or inspiration to them to want more or do more with the talents they possess prompted him to write “Wired”, an emotional and uplifting tale about the journey of an athlete, his struggles and the steps he needs to rebuild and accomplish life’s goals.
The book tells the story of Ladarius, a youth football player who is faced with a tragic loss of a loved one. It brings about dealing with personal blame, blame to those around him and shutting out those who believe in him most and want to see him reach his ultimate potential.
“This story will connect with the youth sports lovers in general for the realism it presents to what athletes actually face day to day in our present time. It will help connect parents to their young athletes and give them an understanding of what their athlete may be going through and the resources available to help them,” Galloway says.
