Book Synopsis
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all trace their heritage to Abraham, yet they offer dramatically different answers about the identity of the Messiah, the authority of Scripture, and the role of the final Prophet.
In The Prophet, Ephraim Ben Yoseph returns to the ancient Scriptures to investigate those competing claims. Moving from Abraham and the Covenant through Moses, Yisrael, the Messiah, the Gospel, Mohammad, the Quran, the Hadith, Mecca, and biblical prophecy, the book asks whether Islam's claim concerning Mohammad can withstand examination against the very Scriptures the Quran affirms.
At the heart of the investigation stands the promise of Deuteronomy 18: a coming Prophet like Moses. Was that Prophet Mohammad—or was the promise fulfilled centuries earlier in Yahushua of Nazareth?
The Prophet invites readers of every background to set aside religious assumptions, examine the texts for themselves, and rediscover the ancient path.
