This book is dedicated to the memory of the ancestors who came before us. I am deeply grateful to the generations of the Sult / Ramsey family who left behind records, stories, and traditions for us to preserve.
Special thanks go to the family members who encouraged this project and generously shared photographs, documents, and memories, making it possible for these histories to be written and remembered.
To my family—those still with us and those long gone—I owe my deepest gratitude. Each name in this book represents a life lived, a struggle endured, and a legacy passed forward.
I am especially thankful to my parents, grandparents, and the many Sult ancestors who carried our family through wars, migrations, and hardships. This book is my small way of honoring their perseverance and sacrifice.
