Book Synopsis
This book is the result of more than two decades of hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic gaming machines. The knowledge presented here was built through countless hours on casino floors, in repair shops, and at workbenches troubleshooting real failures under real-world conditions.
I would like to acknowledge the many technicians, engineers, and trainers—past and present—who shared their knowledge, techniques, and insights over the years. While not all can be named individually, their influence is reflected throughout this work.
Special thanks to those who took the time to answer questions, debate solutions, and challenge assumptions, helping refine both the technical accuracy and practical value of this material.
I am also grateful to the coworkers who tolerated long discussions about power supplies, schematics, and failure modes, and to those who understood the importance of documenting repairs correctly and thoroughly.
Finally, I acknowledge that any errors or omissions in this book are entirely my own. This material is intended as a practical reference based on experience and observation, and readers are encouraged to verify procedures against manufacturer documentation and applicable safety standards.
