Book Synopsis
Caroline Willaby invites James Farrahi to the shores of Lake Erie in the winter of 1927 to help her with a problem, but when he steps off the bus, he finds that Caroline has died. The people of the small village are suspicious of the visitor, especially when he decides to stay and find out more about the stranger who summoned him. He doesn't realize at first that he's putting his life in danger with that decision. This is the seventh novel in the Detective Farrahi series.
