Book Synopsis
The carnival comes to town in St. Ives, Ohio, but not everyone is glad to see the strangers and their games of chance. It's odd enough when someone receives a threatening fortune from a machine, but when the dire prediction comes true, James Farrahi has to investigate the circumstances around the tragic event -- before another one happens. This is the ninth book in the Detective Farrahi series.
