The Five Solas

Like all believers, the gospel message has infiltrated and changed my life in miraculous ways. While in college at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, I discovered Reformed theology: a sort of second awakening to my Christian faith. It was during that time that I was made aware of the Five Solas. Upon grappling with the weight of gospel truth in the Five Solas and yet reconciling it with their rudimentary principles, the most profound realization I had was the necessity and vitality of these five core doctrines. The apparent recognition, for me at that time, was that within the Five Solas lies a concise gospel presentation mediated through Christ alone and for the glory of God alone. This book, simple in its message, serves as a fundamental call to all believers to get back to the basics: namely the doxological and theological life-changing truths of the Five Solas.
