Book Synopsis
What’s up with the cup of coffee and the cinnamon roll on the front cover? Inside the book you will see how Sunday, the Lord’s Day, has been made a special day in my life with little added enjoyments on that day to make it even more distinct. Special enjoyments like cinnamon rolls every Sunday growing up, or real Kona coffee reserved for special occasions like the Lord’s Day. Just little things that help us mark the day as special - as God prescribed it to be.
Inside this book you will see the reason behind making the Lord’s Day a delight, some ways we fall into the trap of misusing the day thereby dishonoring God, and some ways in which we can make sure we promote the Lord’s Day for what it is - a special day set aside to rest, regroup, reflect, and rejoice in God and His goodness to us. In making the Lord’s Day a delight we will find the rejuvenation needed for another week, and who couldn’t use a little more of that? Otherwise, we’ll find ourselves like most people - worn out.
