Relief In Suffering

Relief In Suffering is a book about finding the blessing of God in seeking Him through acts of prayer when sickness or other things come upon us. God has given us instruction for finding relief in James 5. This book is more than an exposition of the James 5:13-18, it is a pastoral approach to application of reaching out in faith to find relief and the blessings found therein. It is comforting to know that God does not leave us to grapple with things alone. He has provided instructions for the church to assist those who are suffering and instructions for the one who is suffering to reach out in faith to God by connecting with the church.
I trust you will not only find this instruction helpful in your own struggles but will also seek to be used of God in being part of the “connection of power” in the people who gather to pray for your local church and who seek to “bear one another’s burdens.”
