Book Synopsis
Nana and Avery spent several days in their blanket fort, playing "monsters." At first, the creatures were genuinely scary. After some discussion, they came up with a breakthrough: monsters are only monstrous because their problems made them act out. Avery helps them solve their problems, and the monsters transform right back into children.
Every child has "monster" moments. By talking through these spooky behaviors with our kids, we can help them uncover what's really bothering them and figure out how to fix it together. It's certainly worth a try!
