Book Synopsis
Alison, has been both pediatric nurse and teacher and loves kids. She draws on her grief over the loss of her son to craft a comforting narrative for children grieving the death of a loved one.
Inspired by her daughter's friend's recent loss, she aims to offer ways for young readers and their parents to work through their grief by recognizing the beauty in the world around them that links them to their loved one. She knows that the intensity of grief reflects the depth of the love for their "Special Person." Alison aims to use her book as a tool to alleviate the pain of permanent loss, offering a platform for both healing and remembrance.
