How to Publish a Book For Free

Although TheBookPatch isn't necessarily a free book publisher (we are in it for the profit), using our website in a way that will cost the author $0.00 or in other words a free book publishing is an available option. In fact, you can actually make money with free book publishing without ever spending a dime.

That might sound too good to be true, but we have a lot of authors that will tell you it's easier than you think.

First you need to write the book. You can do that on your text editor or if you don't have one you can use the free book writing tools on TheBookPatch located under the "Write a Book" tab.

With these free book writing tools, you can then format your book yourself. If you need help you can use TheBookPatch FREE templates that you can download from the "Print on Demand" page.

You then convert your word file to a PDF and upload it to the Print on Demand page.

You can then upload a cover you created on your image editor (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, etc.) using the FREE cover template TheBookPatch lets you download. If you don't have the software to create the cover you can use our FREE cover creator page to do so.

Once the cover is on the book you can order a copy to make sure all is in place (this is not free, but it's not expensive) so if you want to stick with free and you have seen someone else's copy of a book we printed (so you know how great we are) you can place the book in our bookstore for FREE and promote it on your social network.

Every time a book sells we keep the printing cost and you get 100% of the markup. Not only do you make a profit, but you make a profit from a company that isn’t even necessarily a free book publisher. How's that for a website!
