What Have We Become

What Have We Become is a collective exploration of self, story, and transformation by Professor Tullo's Fall 2025 Intro to Creative Writing Students at Florida Gulf Coast University. Divided into three resonant sections: Self-Identity, Mystery and Suspense, and Change, this whole-class chapbook captures the full range of human emotion and imagination. In Self-Identity, stories and reflections uncover the quiet struggles of growing up, facing fear, and redefining who we are. Mystery and Suspense transports readers into eerie and unpredictable worlds. Finally, in Change, poetry and prose blend to illuminate rebirth, healing, and transformation. Whether through loss, love, or the chaos of nature, these works embrace the inevitability of growth and the beauty of imperfection.
