Book Synopsis
Born on the wrong side of the blanket, as the saying goes, Erik and his mother had lived at the King’s hunting lodge until the death of the King. His mother became a prisoner. With no way to help her, Erik flees his Viking home to seek his fortune and return to claim the throne as the eldest son.
In his travels he joins Richard the Lionhearted on his way to the Holy Land on the Third Crusade. After being gone for years Erik finally returns to his homeland to confront his younger brother who has ruled badly.
