About The Author
Fr. Michael Birdsong is the Pastor of St. Michael and All Angels church in Thomaston, GA. He has served in Pastoral Ministry for the past 30 years. He serves on the Bishops Council for the Mid-South Diocese, a member of the Upson County Ministerial Association, a board member for the Heritage Pregnancy Center, and a chaplain for Upson Regional Medical Center. He has been married to Ms. Sonya Birdsong for 29 years and has two children Dcn. Joshua Birdsong and Jessica Birdsong Clay.
Dcn. Joshua Birdsong is a Seminarian working on his Master's in Theology, and was recently ordained as a Deacon in the Charismatic Episcopal Church in April, 2023. Though even before being ordained he was involved in the ministry. He served as an Acolyte in the church when he was in his early teens, then served as Sub-Deacon at ST. Michaels & All Angels Church in Thomaston, GA for a number of years prior to being ordained. He's also assisted his Dad - Fr. Michael Birdsong in many areas involving the ministry.
