Book Synopsis
Reaching the last sentence, the ground began to shake violently, knocking a few priests off their feet. Fearing that might break the spell, the master priest finishes the incantation and watches as the ground rips apart revealing a bright red light and screams of pain and anguish. Suddenly a large bony hand shoots forth and grabs onto the edge, followed by another bony hand.
Pulling himself up and out, the skeleton king looks around and says, “Who dares to summon me?! I am the skeleton king and answer to no man’s call!”
“I did,” the master priest says, stepping forward. “I brought you here to serve me and obey my command.”
The skeleton king fixes the golden crown embedded with gems and looks down at the puny man. Grabbing the priest, the skeleton king lifts him up and says, “Fool! I serve no man for I am king!” The skeleton king then hurls the priest down into the pit from whence he came and bellows, “You will all serve me now!”
