What is the most traumatic experience you recall as a child, or later in your life? For most, the answer will be there within seconds because that wound is still fresh! Does it feel like an arrow stuck in your heart? And every time the subject comes up, it feels as if someone just twanged the shaft of that arrow and you feel the pain deep in your heart again, as though it just happened? Do you still feel that pain?
For some, you may not even recall the event, because it was so painful that your sub-conscience blocked it from your memory. That was the case with me. (see “Trauma”)
