Book Synopsis
A famous novelist hooked on booze and pills; an insane ex-movie star desperate for money; a TV actress with an obsession; a magazine editor who wants to rule the world; and a young man on a journey of self-discovery. These are the people you will meet in "The Ones You Leave Behind".
Uptight, conservative, 20-year-old Jamie Colt returns home to New York City for Christmas in 1974. His mother is Jackie St. Jacques—a larger than life novelist notorious for her trashy books. When Jamie realizes he is gay, he enters a strange and exciting new world that offers a career, friends, romance, and more drama than he bargained for.
