Book Synopsis
“I don’t know if we should be exploring this place. It’s starting to give me the creeps.” Telika says and flies under Link’s cap.
Not worried, Link continues forward in his exploration.
Moving a bunch of bricks, Link finds an opening at the bottom of the door where it’s just big enough to allow someone small to fit through. Finding that his shoulders can squeeze through, Link wiggles back and forth and inches forward.
Seeing something blue sticking up out of the rubble, Link walks over and grabs it.
Flying out from under Link’s cap, Telika says, “I don’t know if we should touch it. I think it’s hidden back here for a reason.”
Too engrossed in what he’s doing, Link is determined to pull it free. “I don’t know Link. I have a bad feeling about this…”
Pulling with all his might, Link feels the blue object shift and come loose. Raising the object high, Link looks at it and is astonished. The last thing he had expected to pull free was a sword. And an expertly crafted one at that too.
“Wow, that’s a beautiful sword,” Telika says. “I wonder who made it?”
Before Link could swing the sword and test it out, sinister laughter could be heard echoing off what few walls remained.
Dropping the sword, Link looks around to see where the laughter is coming from.
