Book Synopsis
This critique deals with a few familiar deceptions that pass for Christianity. Scripture was written down and must be read and contemplated in context. This is what Christians do. If it’s not in Scripture, we have no way of knowing if it’s from God or not. So why do Christian denominations teach so many doctrines that are not in Scripture? If they’re not in Scripture, they’re just opinions of men who will die, and nothing more.
Why are there so many denominations in Christendom? What’s the difference? Do any of them match Scripture? We all learned in school to read in context. But when it comes to the Scripture, we act as if we can divine it. If Scripture has been written down, why are we listening to ministers and priests who don’t agree with it? Why don’t we question them? Why do so many believe their feelings and opinions over the words of Scripture? There may be very good reasons not to believe our handlers. If God says all men are liars, why do we trust them?
