Book Synopsis
We live in a day when many Christians have accepted the false notion that religion is merely a private matter. We are repeatedly told that faith belongs in the home and in the church but has no place in government, education, law, economics, or public policy. Increasingly, those who seek to apply biblical truth to public life are dismissed as extremists, accused of attempting to establish a theocracy or being Christian Nationalists. Most of the people who think this way are simply uninformed and have been prejudiced by the reports and opinions of critics who are spreading ideas that are for the most part untrue. However, we should not be surprised if some individuals do have radical ideas. Every group, every position, every movement has its extremists or adherents from the lunatic fringe. We must not judge an entire movement by the few individuals who have settled on the radical fringe of the movent. A friend of mine once said, “The gospel light attracts a lot of strange bugs.”
