About The Author
Jack London traveled to the Klondike for the gold rush. He was too late to strike gold, but returned with notebooks that he spun into gold. He was one of the first American writers to become an international celebrity and earn a fortune from writing. His home is a State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, California.
