Book Synopsis
Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Matthew 16: 24. As we begin to follow Jesus we find a life marked by paradox, by dualities. We find ourselves in tension between sinner and saint, between law and gospel, freedom and service, cross and glory. These are not tensions we are meant to resolve by our human effort. They are simply the reality of a life following Jesus. In the six sessions of this book we will explore those dualities and how they impact our Christian walk.
