Book Synopsis
Scripture songs are songs consisting entirely of word-for-word King James scripture set to music, the music exactly fitting the scripture.
Each song is either a single continuous passage from the bible, or a collection of such passages centered around a theme, and is a highly effective tool for long-term memorization of scripture.
The author views scripture memorization not as a way to impress others, but as a set of weapons for addressing life's challenges, each weapon being used in a particular way to target and overcome obstacles placed in our lives which could weaken us and make us ineffective Christians. It is up to each individual to identify personal challenges that need weapons to counteract them, then to choose those scripture songs that can serve that purpose.
