Book Synopsis
This wonderful book of poems and raps for students is an eclectic mix of educational, fun, self-help, and socially vital stories and rhymes that will make students laugh, cry, and think. It was written to help children and teens take a close look at themselves, put themselves in another student's shoes, and try to get along better with each other. It also contains facts and information that will be helpful to students in their classes. Hopefully it will give some educators a few possible things to assign students to think and write about also. The author tried to include some poems and raps that might be helpful to a few students in their homelives as well. Enjoy this innovative way to teach and learn.
About The Author
Ms.Striff had been an elementary and middle school teacher for over 20 years in a variety of school settings in 3 different states. The one thing her students had in common was their love for poetry and rap, especially when it helped them learn important facts. She is now retired but still enjoys poetry while in the company of her 2 sweet dogs and 1 ornery cat.
