Book Synopsis
This book describes the journey of George Milton in his quest to find the true and living God of the Bible. His ability to put words to rhyme started out at a young age. As he became more world conscious,he began to feel the need to express his appreciation for the knowledge given to him by a true man of God. Pastor Henry Buie of the Israel of God. To tell others of the Plan of Salvation that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has for the entire creation has not been taught nor understood by modern man. These poems are only the beginning of many poems written which describes the good news of God's plan for his creation. Satan has a plot, but God has the plan written for His creation to understand if they want to. God always gives His creation a choice. These words are from one who chose to listen and hearken to God's voice. Enjoy Read the Bible… Think….. Obey.

I thoroughly enjoyed George's first published book! I so admire the writer's ability to invoke vividness in many ways. On page 85...he says his wife won't allow him to have turkey sausage cause he would be over his limit and would be humming and nearly singing. One can visualize him sitting a the breakfast table, eyes closed and just a humming away at the good taste of food...that turkey sausage!
He also shows his sense of gratefulness. On page 84...he says eyesight from Heaven showed him the time (giving God high five for eyesight as we sometimes take for granted).
On page 6...he praises God, as he begins and continues throughout the book giving God the glory..."to almighty God who keeps waking me up". He knows it's by God's grace that we have life. He thanks God in almost all of his poems for waking him up. He does not take life for granted. He even shares his praises for others in saying on pages 19 and 48 and other pages that he's glad God woke 'you' up. Throughout the book he encourages the reader to read the bible to gain knowledge. I liked that on his 60th birthday (Augh.3) he incorporated that message...an admirable quality.
One crucial thing the author repeats throughout the book is that he does not in any fashion want to be left out of the kingdom and go to the lake of fire.
In his FIGHTING OUR BATTLES on page 12, he says this and continues throughout the book. This is his ultimate goal...to make it to the kingdom...as he so well reiterates. He uses his words to encourage the reader to have the same goal.
Great job George! I look forward to your future publications! Claudette
