Book Synopsis
Daniel Jenkins is a painter and fine artist. Several years ago he had a brain tumor putting pressure on his optic nerves causing him to begin to go blind. After a successful surgery and removal of the tumor his eyesight was fully restored. He took this chance to never hesitate on pursuing his art again and immediately began doing one portrait a day for more than an entire year. The portraits began normal and traditional but overtime evolved into the semi-abstract style that is in this book. This book is a collection of his artistic journey following the life changing events of brain surgery. Each portrait is a glimpse inside the mind of an artist fascinated with figures modern and ancient. Seeing no separation between figures from 500 years ago or 10 years ago Daniel Jenkins brings any and everyone that has had an influence on him into his artistic world.
