Cary Knor was born in Western Pennsylvania, the son of a steel mill worker and stay-at-home mom. When he was seven, his father died; his hard-working mother raised all six children herself. As an energetic kid, Cary enjoyed playing sports and making others laugh in school. He eventually went to Penn State University in the hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster (combining his two loves, talking and sports). Later he met the most amazing woman in the world and married her. Cary then returned to school and received a Masters of Education degree from George Mason University. He has been teaching---and loving it---ever since. With his extra time, he enjoys goofing around with his two children who he loves with all his heart. He now resides in Maryland.
