Book Synopsis
Charles O’Brien is a mathematics professor at Loyola University in Chicago. He is also the assistant head coach of the Ramblers, the university’s basketball team, and that requires him to be out of town frequently during the season. Charles feels that living in the big city and the extra circular activity of his job has a negative impact on his marriage. Charles must deal with the threatening advancements of an abusive coworker, the come on of a young college student, and the destructive behavior of a local criminal. Charles grew up in a small town and he fantasizes about moving to a small town, teaching at a small college, and enjoying life at a leisurely pace. He hoped that a change would make his relationship with Samantha closer than ever. Charles and Samantha have to overcome a few situations that threaten their happiness. This is a story of a man to do whatever he can to deepen the relationship of a woman he loves more than anything else in the world.
