Book Synopsis
This book is for 2nd grade readers and up and for even smaller children who have parents that read to them.
Little Louie lived in a small town in the U.S. in the 1940's. He was a pleasant and enterprising little boy who liked to figure out how things worked. He liked to build things, too. He was curious, creative and kind. He was inventive and enterprising.
Children who read Little Louie can't help but to consider how they would handle the same situations, too.

A simple story, just right for the target audience of read-aloud to second-graders. It took me back to the days when friends and I appropriated old palette wood from the tombstone dealer across from the corner store in our neighborhood. I think we may have raided a few garages for old hardware... We built coasting go-karts and nearly wrecked ourselves on the hill down past the store. Little Louie seems to be a cleaner character than the boys in my old neighborhood, but there's nothing wrong with portraying exemplar boys and leading children to good living!
