Book Synopsis
This book is a compilation of letters written by the wife of a USAF pilot during his assignment to Tehran as an advisor to the Shah's Royal Air Force. The letters, along with many pictures, describe the day-to-day activities of an American family living in a strange foreign country, as they acclimate to Iran’s customs, so different from what they were used to. With two young children (one and three years old), the challenges were numerous, but they did not
detract from the pleasure the family felt as their knowledge expanded and their lives unfolded in a new environment.
