Book Synopsis
Of all books in the Bible, the Revelation of St. John the Divine is simultaneously the most misunderstood and the most explicated. A wide variety of often contradicting interpretations about the book’s meaning and message can be found among all sects of Christianity as well as among a significant body of secular scholars today. Many of these sources offer valuable insights, but many more only confuse. This text looks specifically at the authorship, intended audience, structure, numerology and symbolism of John’s Revelation. In its final chapter, the author explicates the seven seals.
