All aspects of Āyurveda can be seen in the astrological chart: the constitution, the imbalances, and the timing of imbalances. These general factors can be treated without looking at a chart, and are the job of the Āyurvedic doctor (vaidya) to analyze and treat with herbs, diet and related therapies. There are three areas that astrological analysis becomes necessary: [1] removal of blockages, [2] timing, and [3] kārmik disease.
