Book Synopsis
There are countless books written on the subject of how to read the Bible. Many of these books are designed for seminary students, Bible scholars, ordained ministers, and those who have been Christians for many years. These books are all well and good. However, I want to share a few simple thoughts for the person who has very little background and theological training. This little book is designed for the young person in middle school, High school, or the individual who finally decided, I would like to read the Bible and find out what it has to say to me as I live my daily life. I am writing as a pastor who prays that this little book will be of help to that person. I have found that many people have picked up a Bible and began to read it and had no clue as to what the Bible is, how it should be read, why it's important to read the Bible, what the purpose of the Bible is and how the Bible can impact our lives and prepare us for the future. I'm praying that this brief little book will be a great help and inspiration to those who want to pick up their Bible and read for their own personal blessing. For those who tried to read the Bible and quit because they could not understand it let me encourage you to read these few pages and I pray that they might prove to be a real help to you and will inspire you to pick up the Bible and read it as though your eternal destiny depends upon it.… because it does.
