Book Synopsis
The book is inspired by true events.
In pre-war Vienna, a young Jewish woman named Miriam crossed paths with a struggling painter — Adolf Hitler. He was quiet, intense, and strangely magnetic. Against every rule of their divided world, an attraction grew between them — one that neither family could ever accept. His family demanded a Catholic bride. Hers required a Jewish husband. Their love was impossible… yet unforgettable.
But in the shadows of ancient history, something else stirred. From the ruins of the Pergamon Altar, unearthed and brought to Berlin, an ancient Being — a dark spirit of power and hatred — was released. It found its way to Hitler, whispering promises of destiny. When war came, the Being saved him from death — but in return, demanded obedience… and blood.
The Being despised the Jews. It demanded that Hitler become its instrument — the hand that would carry out its vengeance upon the world.
And yet, even as his power grew and his mind darkened, Hitler could not forget Miriam. Her face haunted his dreams; her name echoed in his nightmares. No woman — not even Eva Braun, chosen for political convenience — could erase the ghost of the woman he had once loved.
As the machinery of terror turned and the world sank into darkness, Miriam was swept into the concentration camps — her existence erased from all records.
But on the eve of his wedding, in the final days of the Reich, Hitler made a secret decision. Defying both his advisors and the Being itself, he chose to save Miriam — the one person who could still remind him of the man he might have been… and the soul he had already lost.
