About The Author
Jill Chase is a homeschool mom and a licensed teacher. With six years of experience homeschooling her own children and seven years as a classroom teacher, Jill is passionate about making instruction engaging and effective. Jill’s experiences teaching her own children have given her a good understanding of the unique challenges presented by homeschooling. She has always loved math and was inspired to create this curriculum to help students and parents enjoy it together. These lessons are designed to get kids talking about math and asking questions, exploring concepts and connecting them with real life. With an M.Ed. in education and B.A. in psychology (summa cum laude), as well as a strong academic background as a National Merit Scholar, University Fellow, and honors/AP math student, Jill is able to explain math ideas in ways that make sense to children and provide activities that will reinforce these concepts in fun and engaging ways.
