Guitar Music Theory and Composition

This book compresses what a university teaches over several years into one guitar-based course: music
theory, harmony, ear training, counterpoint, form, arranging, modern techniques and composition. It skips
the history lectures, the exams and everything you can't use. It teaches only what changes how you play,
write and think. All you need is a guitar in standard tuning (low to high: E A D G B E); when another tuning
is used, the book says so.
You will not read standard sheet music anywhere in this book. Everything is shown in three kinds of
pictures that guitarists already understand. Learn to read them now and the rest of the book is easy.
