Book Synopsis
Research has long supported the importance of a deep and broad vocabulary for educational and social success. However, when it comes to emotions, it is very difficult to provide a “definition,” partly because emotions are such an individualized experience. Knowing that, we have tried to put into words the complex nuances of these emotions. We also know that everyone might not feel these emotions in the same ways, and that’s okay; that is part of the work and what we hope this workbook will help to navigate. Our goal is that this resource will be a platform to open up the discussion, processing and distinguishing of a broad range of emotional vocabulary as well as experiences. This seemingly small thing has tremendous payoffs for overall well-being.
