He was principal lecturer for the Opera Journeys Lecture Series at Florida International University, at the time, the Opera Journeys Showcase Series and Biographies in Music Series were accredited undergraduate course of the FIU School of Music; a lecturer for opera and music “theme” cruises; a commissioned author of Season Opera Guides and Program Notes for performances at regional opera companies; a translator of opera librettos for Sony-BMG new CD/DVD releases; and a frequent opera commentator on National Public Radio.
