Dead White Male Seeking Wife

Kurt Kessler is dead. He can deal with that. He's in a strange ethereal city. He can deal with that, too. He can even deal with the fact that he's been murdered. But the fact that he can't find his dead wife, Hilda, is more than he can handle. Where is she, and why has she not joined him? More importantly, why were they killed in the first place? To find out, Kurt enlists the help of his living son Emmett and an executed murderer named Bernie. Together, they work to unearth his wife's secrets. But will it be enough to find her and allow them to live together in the afterlife?
