Book Synopsis
Pouring over the local legends of hidden treasures, Brax is sure he is going to find the greatest of all the treasures. Not sure which one is the greatest, he decides to start with the shiniest coin. Inviting a fellow bullfrog adventurer, Brax and Xander take off into the unknown world of adventuring.
Hopping up next to the pedestal, Brax realizes how tall it is. Leaping up against it, he also finds out that it is beyond his leap height. Trying one more time and failing, Brax just about gives up, when he hears, “Come to take the coin?”
Looking around and not seeing where the voice came from, Brax responds, “yes…”
“Then you're going to have to get by me first!” Dropping down from the vines high up, a small brown monkey lands and slaps its hands on the ground.
“Uh, Brax, what do we do?” Xander asks, scared out of his mind.
“We fight it!”
“Do you really think we can fight it?”
“Of cour--” Brax is cut off when the guardian of the coin grabs him and throws him across the room.
