Book Synopsis
We are all connected; and yet, many of us have never felt more isolated than ever before. Relational birding is a method of engagement with nature’s community which can help turn the tide, bringing us out of isolation and into a kind of connection which cultivates empathy for birds, their environments, and the other humans with whom we share the experience.
This book in its entirety represents the Relational Birding Method. The pages that follow include The Seven Steps to Bring a Peaceful Presence and The ABC’s of Relational Birding as well as other core Relational Birding practices which include Shifting Perspective, Full Sensory Engagement, and Waiting in the Wilderness. Plus, you’ll find Relational Birding Challenges at the end of each chapter that are meant to help guide you into the Relational Birding experience.
