Book Synopsis
Libby Leff Katz aka Bubbie raised four devilishly handsome boys: Erik, Steven, David, and Ted. These growing boys had voracious appetites and essentially ate Bubbie and Poppy out of house and home. If you are curious, Poppy often ate the scraps left behind by the boys unless, of course, Bubbie was making pan-fried liver and onions. In addition to making traditional 1970s and early 80s fare that you could find in many American-Jewish kitchens, Bubbie loved to bake. Who hasn't savored her famous Mandel Bread? During Passover, she cooked traditional dishes that had been passed down over generations. Surprisingly, the boys all kept Passover "in the house".
