Twenty years ago I was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. As a child growing up with a chronic condition, besides the daily finger pokes and insulin shots, I would say I lived a normal life...and I have my mom and dad to thank for that!
Before our wedding, my mom gifted me with this book, "Always Perfect". It's my mom's story about raising a child with juvenile diabetes. God has blessed me with an amazing family and this condition that has helped shape me into the person I have grown to be.
Thank you mom for writing this book, and thank you for always looking at me as your perfect daughter. I love you!

Just finished your book. Wow, you did a great job. I had to keep taking breaks because I couldn't see through me tears to read! I always knew that raising a child with diabetes was challenging, but man, this book broke my heart. Sami is SO SO BLESSED to have you and Jeff and the boys too.
