Book Synopsis
Turning around, Sil flaps his wings harder and faster than he ever has before in an attempt to outdistance the ginormous beast. Glancing back every few wing beats, he notices that he has not gained any distance. Frustrated at the inevitably of his own demise, he spins around, throws his wings out to steady himself, and breathes in deeply.
Recalling all the past pains and traumas he has endured, Sil opens his mouth and emits a whirlwind of white flame. Swirling roundabout as it exits his mouth, the white fire washes over his pursuer. With a simple spin and flick of its wing, the dragon put out the flame.
“Was that dragon's rage?” The dragon bellows out. “Let me show you true dragon’s rage!”
Opening his mouth, the dragon sparks a fireball and holds it at the end of his mouth. Inhaling deeply through his nostrils, the dragon sends the air out his mouth fueling the flame. It started out as a dull red, quickly becoming orange, and finally turning a bright white. Before releasing the ball, the dragon begins swirling it’s head around. Terrified to the point of paralyzation, Sil watches as the flame leaves the dragon’s mouth.
