T.R. Lazorishak (Luh-zor-shak) grew up in Hermitage, Pennsylvania (close to the PA-Ohio state line); his Dad, Ted, taught high school social studies classes & was a head football coach. T.R.'s Mom, Flo (now deceased) was a housewife who also sold & collected vintage art glass. Upon graduating high school, the author enlisted in the U.S. Air Force; he served four years, guarding vital military aircraft in western Europe & in northern California during the tense Cold War of the 1980s. T.R. achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5) & was honorably discharged. Currently a part-time writer, he also enjoys watching football & collecting sports memorabilia & Civil War memorabilia. Single, he resides in the mountains of Colorado, far from the rolling, green hills of his youth in western Pennsylvania.
