Book Synopsis
During my growing up years on the farm in the 1940s and 1950s, there were no electronic devices to occupy us, no television or even plastic toys. Our fun other than when we were working centered around family members, in my case, seven siblings.
The stories in this publication are mostly true (depending on which sibling you talk to). My own children and grandchildren heard them first and then I wrote them down realizing the majority of kids born now will have little or no first hand experience with growing up on a farm in America.
Readers wrote: "Hilarious"
"Touching, good morals taught"
"Pity your siblings"
"Are you still friends with your siblings?"
"So many of these stories echo my own upbringing."
"Your mother must have been a saint."
