The need to do personal interpretation presupposes that spiritual maturity rests upon good interpretation. In turn, the course contributes toward enabling you to handle the biblical text responsibly. The three modules are designed to help you develop a framework for your own investigation of various parts of the Old and New Testaments. Module 1 is entitled "The Art of Interpretation." Module 2 focuses on the Hebrew Scriptures--the Old Testament. Module 3 looks at interpreting the Greek Scriptures--the New Testament.

A serious problem with many Christian leaders is that of organizing and managing spiritual resources. If laborers for spiritual harvest are few as the Bible indicates, then they should be properly organized and mobilized. This study presents principles of management revealed in God's written Word, the Holy Bible. Christian leaders are responsible over the resources entrusted to them by someone else. As believers, each of us are managers of spiritual resources with which God has entrusted us. How we manage those resources is part of our faithfulness and accountability both to God and our organizations.

This course (Church Planting), is a practical course of study which stresses the importance of establishing new churches as a means of evangelizing the world. It gives guidelines so that any local church can be involved in the task of planting churches, thereby becoming a multiplying church. A study of the administrative principles and practices for the local church. The course examines staff, finances, buildings, and public relations in churches and integrates material from both religious and secular sources. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a broad overview of the theory and practice of administration in the local church by exploring the biblical concepts of leadership and administration. Additional topics to be addressed include goal setting, team building, delegation, human relationships, budgeting, working with committees, legal issues, personnel management, church operations, and the training of leaders.

This course is titled “Communicating the Gospel,” for it pertains to public religious discourse. It is designed for both the preacher and the teacher. The course is broken into three modules. Module 1 The Science and Art of Communicating the Gospel defines proclamation, describes its function, and sets forth the elements that can make it effective. Module 2 Preparation analyzes the prospect of preaching from various texts, topics, and genres. Module 3 Presentation considers the role of media, delivery style, and personal character in effective preaching.
