Got sons? Raising them in this culture where manhood has gotten twisted and confused can be challenging! Realizing that boys around the ages of 12 or 13 are poised at a gate of transition, ready to hear about what it means to be a MAN, we have created a year-long program for fathers and sons to do in small groups, culminating in a rite-of-passage ceremony at the end. GateWay: On the Journey to Manhood is comprised of both spiritual and practical training, emphasizing character traits and physical skills that will be helpful to know as the boys grow into men. Groups meet twice a month throughout the year, learning together and building relationships as fathers and sons.
