I wrote this children's story because I noticed that sometimes kids are afraid of trying new things. David, the main character, is afraid that his bear features will make it impossible for him to play an instrument. However, with the help of his polar bear friend Melanie, he never gives up hope. It’s important for children to learn that sometimes it’s hard to try new things but it’s not so bad if you just give it a chance. You might even enjoy it!
